The Itkowitz & Harwood Empty Walls Itinerant Art Initiative ("EWIAI") is a unique exhibit featuring the talent of up and coming artists.
We are a reputable Manhattan law firm with 15 lawyers (30 employees) occupying 2,700 s.f. in a Downtown - Tribeca building (see itkowitz.com). In 2010 we reinvented our office space, opening up our main floor and filling it with natural light. But the walls were barren. We could have invested in pricey art or tacky inspirational office prints. Instead we chose to highlight the work of local artists and photographers.
Through our EWIAI, we began inviting artists and photographers with some otherwise itinerant pieces to exhibit their work on our walls. So far we are privileged to be displaying and enjoying the works of twenty amazing artists and photographers. We are also thrilled to report that two of the works sold while they were hanging on our walls. (I&H keeps none of the profits!)
We began EWIAI as merely a clever solution to the problem of bare walls. But the program has delivered so much more than we expected. The walls have come alive with this authentic work. We are eager to thank these artists and to share what we have created with our friends.

PROGRAM SPECIFICS
What we are offering is:
- An opportunity to put work up that otherwise would not be up anywhere. In other words, a chance to make people happy with your work
- An opportunity to sell work to our clients and other invitees to the space. We take zero percentage - good for you
- Promotion on our website, for what it's worth.
We are specifically asking for is:
- Work that is framed or otherwise ready to hang; and
- An agreement to allow us to keep the work for at least three months.
- We can accept even as little as one piece for this gig, but prefer a series from each artist.

- A jpeg of at least one piece of the art;
- Any salient details about yourself and your career;
- The length of time we can keep the work; and
- The number of pieces you are interested in exhibiting;
